Jessica Biel is known for her stunning long locks, but recently she made a drastic change to her hairdo. After a book signing event in Studio City, the actress surprised fans by debuting a chic bob haircut.

Actress Jessica Biel surprised her fans with a dramatic hair transformation on Saturday. She traded her chest-length locks for a stylish short bob. The 42-year-old Emmy nominee, who has a massive social media following, shared a before-and-after video of her new look. She humorously captioned it “Brought back the f* a bob“.
This isn’t the first time Jessica has sported a bob; she previously rocked the style in 1998 and 2006. To achieve her latest haircut, Jessica enlisted the expertise of Milbon global creative director Anh Co Tran. Train is known for his precision cuts and contemporary styles.
Earlier on the same afternoon, Jessica Biel made an appearance at Annabelle’s Book Club LA, an independent bookstore in Studio City, for a book signing event. She spent about an hour and a half promoting her literary debut, “A Kids Book About Periods”.
The book was released the previous Tuesday. Biel opted for a casual yet chic ensemble, wearing a seafoam-colored blouse paired with blue jeans and white pumps for the occasion.
What Has Jessica Biel Been Up To?
Jessica Biel, mother of two sons, Silas aged 9 and Phineas aged 3, shared her eldest child’s reaction to her book aimed at children aged 7-9 about menstruation. She was impressed with how well he handled the topic, describing his initial response as, “Oh, that’s weird.”
Biel explained that she also finds menstruation strange and reassured him that it’s normal to feel that way. She shared this interaction with People magazine last Friday.
Jessica Biel, originally from Minnesota, reflected on her experience discussing menstruation with her son. She described his reaction as initially finding it “weird,” but she was pleased to see him handling the conversation with maturity.
Biel saw this as a successful first step toward having deeper conversations with him in the future, which was her motivation for writing the book. For each copy sold, Biel will donate 5% of the proceeds to PERIOD, a non-profit organization dedicated to addressing period poverty and stigma through service, education, and advocacy.
