Sadie Sink Is Joining Spider-Man 4
Sadie Sink, known for Stranger Things, will join Tom Holland in the fourth Spider-Man film, directed by Destin Daniel Cretton. The untitled movie’s screenplay is written by Erik Sommers and Chris McKenna.
The plot for Spider-Man 4 is being kept secret, following the events of No Way Home, where the world forgets Peter Parker is Spider-Man, including MJ (Zendaya). It is unclear what role Sadie Sink will play in the film.
Tom Holland teased Spider-Man 4 on Good Morning America, describing the idea as “crazy” and “different” from previous films, but promising fans will love it. Sony Pictures has scheduled the movie’s release for July 31, 2026.
The Latest Spider-Man Movie
Tom Holland last appeared as Spider-Man in 2021’s Spider-Man: No Way Home, which grossed over $1.9 billion worldwide. The film was directed by Jon Watts, who also directed Holland in Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) and Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019).
Spider-Man: No Way Home follows Peter Parker (Tom Holland) as he faces the consequences of his secret identity being revealed.

Seeking help from Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) to erase the memory of his identity from the world, things go wrong, causing the multiverse to collapse. Moreover, villains from alternate realities, including Green Goblin, Doc Ock, and Electro, are pulled into Peter’s world.
The film explores themes of responsibility, sacrifice, and the consequences of tampering with reality. This is all while also bringing back previous Spider-Man actors Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield in a climactic multiversal team-up.

Sadie Sink’s addition to the MCU comes as she nears the end of her time on Stranger Things. Her upcoming projects include the Searchlight movie O’Dessa and the Broadway play John Proctor Is the Villain.
