Kelly Clarkson’s Ex Brandon Blackstock Passes Away at 48

Brandon Blackstock, best known as a talent manager and the former husband of Kelly Clarkson, has died at the age of 48.

He passed away on August 7, 2025, after a private and lengthy battle with cancer.

His family confirmed the heartbreaking news in a statement shared this week, describing his passing as peaceful. “Brandon bravely fought cancer for over three years. He was surrounded by family at the time of his death,” the statement read.

He was the stepson of country music legend Reba McEntire and the son of Narvel Blackstock, a well-known music executive.
