Democrats on the House Oversight Committee have released a sexually suggestive letter from Jeffrey Epstein’s 50th birthday album that appears to include former President Donald Trump’s signature.

The note, which surfaced alongside an image of a nude female outline and a flirtatious message, has reignited scrutiny over Trump’s past ties to Epstein. Trump continues to deny any connection to the drawing or the inscription.

The Bawdy Birthday Book from Donald Trump

The album in question—titled The First Fifty Years—was compiled in 2003 by Ghislaine Maxwell. It contains risqué messages, drawings, and photos from numerous high-profile contributors, including Bill Clinton, Leon Black, and Alan Dershowitz. Legal representatives for Epstein’s estate turned over the full book to Congress under subpoena.

The recently released page shows a stylized drawing of a nude woman with typewritten dialogue suggesting shared secrets—ending with “Happy Birthday—and may every day be another wonderful secret,” followed by “Donald J. Trump.”
Democrats argue the note’s existence contrasts with Trump’s longstanding denial that the message or any drawing in his name exists, calling for transparency—and raising the stakes in an ongoing congressional inquiry.

Trump and his administration have responded firmly. He has labeled the letter “fake,” insisted “I never wrote a picture in my life,” and launched a defamation lawsuit against the Wall Street Journal and News Corp for its initial reporting, seeking billions in damages.

The White House backed him up, with aides claiming the signature does not match known examples from his presidency. Still, independent signature analysis by the Journal and others found stylistic similarities between the album inscription and earlier Trump handwriting samples, including letters from the early 2000s.

Mixed Reactions Spark Debate

In political circles, reactions varied. MAGA supporters dismissed the revelation as a contrived scandal aimed at damaging Trump’s reputation. Prominent figures on the right criticized the move as politically motivated. On the other hand, critics saw the note’s release as compelling evidence that demands further investigation—not just into Trump, but into the broader web surrounding Epstein.

Congressional Democrats, including members of the Oversight Committee, say the event underscores the necessity of releasing all Epstein-related documents to ensure full accountability.

Why It Matters

This development marks a striking moment in the intertwining of high-profile individuals with the Epstein case. The provocative nature of the illustration—combined with Trump’s disputed involvement—fuels public concern over transparency, accountability, and the lingering influence of past associations.

For many, the episode isn’t just about the legality of the signature; it’s about the broader question of how power, secrecy, and privilege intersect, leaving behind unresolved questions and a demand for answers.
