Ariana Grande is a powerhouse in the music industry, known for her incredible vocals and chart-topping hits. With her latest album reaching the number-one spot on the Billboard 200 chart, she has once again proven her dominance in the music world.
Ariana Grande Marks Sixth No. 1 Album
Ariana Grande’s album “Eternal Sunshine” debuts at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, marking her sixth album to achieve this feat. The album earned 227,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. during the week ending March 14, making it the largest opening week for any album in 2024. Ariana Grande has previously topped the Billboard 200 chart with five albums: “Positions” (2020), “Thank U, Next” (2019), “Sweetener” (2018), “My Everything” (2014), and “Yours Truly” (2013).
The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums in the U.S. each week based on multi-metric consumption, including album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA), and streaming equivalent albums (SEA). Each unit represents either one album sale, 10 individual tracks sold from an album, or a specific number of streams from ad-supported or paid/subscription on-demand official audio and video platforms. The chart for the week of March 23, 2024, will be available on Billboard’s website on March 19. For updates on chart news, follow @billboard and @billboardcharts on social media platforms.
