Ashley Stobart, a UK influencer and podcast host, says her passport no longer works because of how much her face has changed from plastic surgery.

Stobart, 34, co-hosts the “Nip Tuck” podcast. She recently shared on the show that her passport photo no longer matches her current appearance. “I’ve had so much work done, my passport doesn’t work at the barriers,” she said, laughing.

Stobart previously told PEOPLE that she got a facelift after experiencing extreme sagging from dissolved fillers. She also had procedures like a nose job and a brow lift.

She recalled being stopped by officials at the airport. “They were like, ‘This is not you. Do you have any credit cards?’” she said.

Her co-host, Lauren Elizabeth Adamson, added that another woman she knows was also stopped while entering Turkey for the same reason. “She looked completely different from her passport,” Adamson said.

The two agreed that changes to the nose and eyebrows can drastically alter someone’s appearance.

Stobart even tried showing photos from her surgery journey to prove her identity, but the issue kept causing delays at border control.

Fans shared similar experiences online. One commenter who worked with the UK border force said machines don’t have the final say, a real person checks the images. Another said an officer stared at their face for 10 minutes before confirming the match.

Stobart’s story highlights a growing issue: how cosmetic procedures can cause travel complications when passport photos no longer reflect real-life appearances.
