On July 24, Hulk Hogan, born Terry Bollea, passed away at age 71. Reports said he suffered cardiac arrest in his Florida home. WWE and his family confirmed the tragic news in official statements. They asked for privacy and remembered Hogan as a global icon who touched millions over four decades.
WWE paid tribute to the wrestling legend during Monday Night Raw on July 29, opening with a 10-bell salute. His son Nick Hogan attended the event. Brooke Hogan skipped tributes, which drew criticism on social media. She responded directly on Instagram.
“For those of you giving me crap for not attending my dad’s tributes, @wwe did not extend an invite,” Brooke wrote.
Brooke Hogan Skipped Tributes but Shared Private Farewell

Despite not being at the televised ceremonies, Brooke shared a heartfelt tribute on Instagram. She posted a video montage of photos with her father and captioned it with emotional words.
“My Dearest Daddy, You were my everything, and I will always be your girl. I am PROUD to be your daughter… Thank you for loving me so deeply.“
She ended her post with, “Forever yours, Brooke,” and the phrase “4LifeAfterLife,” a nod to their close bond.
Brooke later added that her connection with Hulk Hogan “was never broken” and went beyond public perception. “I got to know the real version of him,” she said, explaining that their relationship went far deeper than the media ever saw.
Hulk Hogan leaves behind wife Sky Daily and two children, Brooke and Nick, from his previous marriage to Linda Hogan. While Brooke Hogan skipped tributes organized by WWE, she made it clear that her love for her father remains eternal.
