Her twin sister, Lupita, humorously confirmed on camera that she did not marry, making clear that only Carmen and Daniel exchanged vows. From Hinge Meeting to Marriage

Carmen and Daniel met in 2020 through the dating app Hinge. Carmen noted that Daniel treated her with respect, never making her conjoined condition the focal point. Despite her social anxiety and history of canceled dates, she felt at ease during their first in-person meeting. They celebrated a five-year relationship before tying the knot.
