Drake’s Toronto Home Faces Yet Another Trespasser

After being read to shreds by Kendrick Lamar, Drake, the Canadian rapper and music icon, has been facing issues with trespassers on his property in recent times. Just this week, his security team had to take down the third alleged trespasser. Drake’s Toronto home can now easily be considered unsafe. But, how come he is facing these issues to begin with?

What Happened to Drake’s Toronto Home?

Drake has appealed to the media following a turbulent period for the rapper. Recent weeks have seen him embroiled in a feud with Kendrick Lamar, involving personal attacks exchanged between them. Additionally, a drive-by shooting took place outside Drake’s home shortly after the feud escalated.

On Tuesday, May 7th, a security guard was shot in the chest. Officers discovered him unconscious upon arrival at the scene. The incident occurred around 2 am while the guard was stationed outside the property gates. He was subsequently taken to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.

Following the shooting, one suspect fled the scene in a vehicle, according to police reports. While authorities couldn’t confirm whether Drake was present during the incident, they stated that his team is actively cooperating with the investigation.

Others Also Tried Entering Drake’s Toronto Home

Over the past few days, there have been some concerning incidents at Drake’s mansion. First, someone tried to break in, and shortly after, another person was spotted outside the property. Security had to intervene with the second person, who ended up getting injured but thankfully not seriously. Then, on Saturday, the police had to remove a third intruder from the premises.

Drake himself commented on these events on Instagram, specifically addressing the situation to CP24, a Canadian news organization. He wrote: “Can we discuss the chopper flight times over the house ’cause I won’t lie, I’m trying to sleep. Anytime after 3pm works great for me.”

Why Is This Happening?

The security incidents at Drake’s place happened right after his rival, Lamar, targeted Drake’s home in a diss track. Lamar dropped three diss tracks against Drake in just 36 hours, sparking off their long-running feud once again.

This rivalry between the two big names in rap has been going on for years, but it heated up recently because of these surprise tracks. It all started about a month ago when Lamar dissed Drake and J Cole in his song ‘First Person Shooter.’ He fired back with a diss track accusing Lamar of domestic violence, and in response, Lamar claimed that Drake has a secret daughter.
