Simon Fisher-Becker was a British character actor best known for his role as Dorium Maldovar in Doctor Who, appearing in multiple episodes alongside Matt Smith’s Doctor. He was also recognized for playing the Fat Friar, the Hufflepuff ghost, in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.

Beyond these iconic roles, Fisher-Becker had a diverse career in television, film, and theater. His TV appearances included roles in Pope Joan, Hustle, Gideon’s Daughter, Doctors, and The Sarah Jane Adventures. On stage, he performed in numerous productions, often showcasing his skills as a storyteller and public speaker.
