Brooke Hogan made the emotionally difficult decision in 2023 to remove herself from her father Hulk Hogan’s will—long before his death in July 2025.

In a conversation on a popular podcast, she revealed that the choice came from a desire to shield herself and her growing family from expected legal battles and family drama.

Why Brooke Hogan Chose to Step Away

In her candid interview, Brooke Hogan shared that she had become “scared” of the people surrounding her father. Tensions involving her mother, Linda Hogan, and Hulk’s third wife, Sky Daily, compounded her unease—especially due to alleged links to Scientology and past emotional wounds.

She tearfully texted her father’s assistant: “Take me off everything. I don’t want to be part of it.” Being pregnant with twins shifted her priorities—money wasn’t worth the potential turmoil.

Hogan Bond Beyond the Headlines

Despite their estranged relationship, Brooke reaffirmed her deep emotional connection to Hulk in her Instagram tribute. She explained how their bond was never broken, even through private disagreements and a wall she described as a “force field” she couldn’t breach.

In her last memory of him, she felt he remained her “everything,” present in her spirit even when distant.

Choosing the Beach Over a Funeral

When Hulk Hogan passed away from a heart attack in July 2025, Brooke did not attend the funeral or televised tributes. She honored him privately at the beach with her husband and twins—his favorite place. She explained her father “hated the morbidity of funerals” and said this quiet, sunlit tribute felt more authentic.

She still wore his yellow in homage and expressed how deeply she loved him despite the public separation.

Why This Matters

Brooke’s choice highlights the emotional and psychological cost that fame and family dynamics can bring. By stepping away from the estate, she prioritized emotional well-being over legacy. Her story invites a deeper conversation about boundaries, healing, and honoring loved ones in ways that feel true to each person.
