What We Know So Far About “Vultures” and Kanye West’s New Album

The trailer concludes by revealing that the Vultures album will be divided into three volumes. The first volume is scheduled for release on February 9. It will then be followed by the second on March 8 and the third volume on April 5.

In November 2023, Kanye West made a surprise appearance at Lil Durk’s concert in Blu Dubai, where he performed his track “Vultures” alongside Ty Dolla $ign. The nightclub shared a video on Instagram Stories capturing Kanye West’s performance at Lil Durk’s concert. The footage featured West rapping contentious lyrics from the song “Vultures,” notably including lines like, “How am I antisemitic? I just f—ed a Jewish bitch.” In addition to the controversial antisemitic lyrics, West appeared to reference his ex-manager Scooter Braun with the line, “I just f—ed Scooter’s bitch,” and touched on the tragic event of the Columbine High School shooting.

There Is Even More to It

Late last year in Miami, Kanye West offered a raw preview of his upcoming album “Vultures” in a live-streamed listening session. This version of the album included collaborations with Chris Brown, Playboi Carti, and Kodak Black. Notably, Nicki Minaj contributed to the final version of “New Body,” but she expressed disapproval of the release of her verse on the track. West also incorporated a snippet from the Backstreet Boys’ 1997 hit “Backstreet’s Back” into one of the songs.

“Vultures” is set to be Kanye West’s first official album since the release of “Donda” in 2021. “Donda” received a nomination for Album of the Year at the 64th Grammys.
