King Charles? More like King of Comedy! While the King is mostly focused on the well-being of his country, he has time for a little joke here or there. A viral clip shows King Charles making light of his own “sausage fingers,” revealing a sense of humor about a physical characteristic. But where is the clip from? Let us find out together.

King Charles Makes Fun of His Sausage Fingers

The BBC documentary “Charles III: The Coronation Year” provides a behind-the-scenes look at the preparations for King Charles’s coronation. The film, airing on Boxing Day, features footage of the King and Prince William rehearsing parts of the ceremony. In a clip, William struggles with a clasp on Charles’s ceremonial robe, joking about potential mishaps on the actual day. Charles responds with humor, remarking on William not having “sausage fingers” like his own.

Not the First Time We Are Dealing With the King of Comedy

In a Prince’s Trust gala celebrating his 50th birthday, Prince Charles, now King Charles III, participated in a sketch alongside Stephen Fry and Roger Moore. He played the role of a waiter. In the gala sketch, various celebrity look-alikes served food to Stephen Fry and Roger Moore’s table. This was reported by the BBC. Prince Charles, the real royal, eventually appeared with a towel draped over his arm. He humorously inquired about the satisfaction of their meal. In response, Roger Moore playfully commented on the need for improvement in the impersonator’s voice during the sketch.

During a 2006 Prince’s Trust concert, Prince Charles humorously expressed a desire to sing but acknowledged his limitations in that area. He playfully remarked that, despite lacking singing abilities, he could at least hold a glow stick. The crowd applauded his lighthearted comment, while Prince William, standing behind him, gestured with a “no” motion, adding to the comedic moment.

But Why Does King Charles Have “Sausage Fingers”?

GP Chun Tang, the Medical Director at Pall Mall Medical, has provided insights into the phenomenon of “sausage fingers.” According to Dr. Tang, swollen or puffy fingers often indicate water retention, a symptom that can be linked to a range of health conditions. This condition is associated with inflammation and may be caused by factors such as arthritis, multiple bacterial infections, tuberculosis (TB), high salt levels, allergic reactions, medicinal side effects, injuries, and autoimmune diseases. The swelling can be a result of various underlying issues, making it important for individuals experiencing this symptom to seek medical attention to determine the specific cause and appropriate course of action. Dr. Tang’s remarks were shared with the Daily Mail.
