Lil Nas X Arrested in Los Angeles After Roaming Naked and Charging at Police

In the early hours of Thursday, August 21, Grammy-winning rapper Lil Nas X—a.k.a. Montero Lamar Hill—was spotted walking down Ventura Boulevard in Studio City wearing just white underwear and cowboy boots.
Bystanders captured images of him walking and even placing a traffic cone on his head, all while singing and muttering about going to a party.

Around 5:50 a.m., police responded to reports of a naked man roaming the street. On arrival, they say Lil Nas X charged at officers—reportedly punching one officer twice.
He was subdued, handcuffed, and immediately taken to a hospital amid concerns of an overdose.

After receiving medical attention, Lil Nas X was booked into Van Nuys Jail at approximately 6:10 a.m., facing one count of misdemeanor battery on a police officer.
