Mega Cringe! Madonna Falls From Chair During Seattle Stage

Madonna, at 63 years old, continues to push the boundaries and entertain audiences worldwide. However, even the most seasoned performers can experience unexpected accidents during live performances. Although the pop diva is known for her iconic performances and unforgettable moments on stage, she recently had a mishap during a stage in Seattle. The Queen of Pop took a tumble while sitting on a chair, causing quite a spectacle for fans and onlookers.

What Happened to Madonna During Her Seattle Concert?

During a performance of “Open Your Heart” in Seattle, Madonna, the pop icon, aged 65, took a tumble off a chair onstage. As she began singing, one of her backup dancers attempted to drag the chair. However, both she and the dancer ended up falling to the floor. Despite the mishap, Madonna was seen laughing it off. She was rolling off the chair with a smile in a video of the incident.

After the fall, Madonna regained her composure and returned to the chair. However, she seemed disoriented as she sat down facing the wrong way and appeared to forget the lyrics. Realizing her mistake, she exclaimed, “S—, I forgot the words,” and then got up from the chair.

Following the mishap, a backup dancer brought another chair to Madonna, and the performance quickly resumed its routine. Madonna is currently on her “The Celebration Tour.” This stage fall is not the first on-set mishap during her shows since the tour began in October.

Other Mishaps During the Tour

During a December stop in Washington, D.C., one of Madonna’s dancers attempted to perform a lap dance on Santa Claus, which resulted in both Santa and the dancer falling forward. Madonna, who was nearby, checked on Santa and returned his red hat. In a video of the incident, Santa appeared to be judging the backup dancer’s performances, holding judging cards during Madonna’s set.

The dancer involved in the fall quickly resumed her performance, while Santa gathered his belongings from the stage. Later, during Madonna’s performance at Barclay’s Center in the same month, she disclosed to the crowd that she had been placed in a medically induced coma over the summer. Madonna shared in a video captured by a fan that she was in a coma for 48 hours and that her Kabbalah teacher stayed by her side throughout.

Madonna recounted that during her coma, the only voice she heard was her friend, who told her to squeeze his hand. Upon regaining consciousness, Madonna found her six children gathered around her, noting humorously that it took almost dying to get them all in one room. She credited her friend Shavawn with saving her life after she passed out in her bathroom.
