Missing College Student Footage Hours Before Vanishing in Dominican Republic

Sudiksha Konanki, a 20-year-old University of Pittsburgh junior, vanished without a trace during a spring break trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, on March 6, 2025.

Sudiksha, who was described by her family as an ambitious and loving individual, had traveled to the popular tourist destination with a group of friends, seeking rest and relaxation after the stresses of academic life. However, her vacation quickly turned into a nightmare.

The young woman was last seen at the Riu República Hotel around 4:15 a.m. on March 6. Surveillance footage captured her in the company of Joshua Riibe, a senior from St. Cloud State University. The two were enjoying the night at the hotel’s bar before heading towards the beach area together.
