The 43-year-old host and entertainer has always been known for making headlines, but his latest move is one for the books.

Nick Cannon recently revealed in an interview with Entertainment Tonight that he has taken out a $10 million insurance policy on his testicles.

Nick Cannon Insures His Testicles

Cannon explained his decision, citing the common practice of celebrities insuring various body parts. “I had to insure my most valuable assets,” he told ET. “Because you hear about like all these different celebrities insuring their legs… so I was like, ‘Hey, well, I got to insure my most valuable body part.’”

The policy was arranged by the men’s personal care company Dr. Squatch. According to Cannon, the main reason behind this decision is to ensure “nothing goes wrong,” particularly since he has no immediate plans to expand his already large family.

Father of Twelve

Nick Cannon is well-known for his large family, having fathered twelve children with six different women. His children include:

  • Twins Monroe and Moroccan with Mariah Carey.
  • A 2-year-old with Bre Tiesi.
  • Three children with Brittany Bell (Golden Sagon, Powerful Queen, and Rise Messiah).
  • Two children with Alyssa Scott (including Zen, who tragically passed away at 5 months old from brain cancer).
  • Three children with Abby De La Rosa (Zion, Zillion, and Beautiful).
  • One child with LaNisha Cole (Onyx Ice).

Doubling Down on “Valuable Balls”

In a press release for Dr. Squatch, Cannon addressed his critics with humor. “Haters say it’s time for me to stop having kids and put this super sperm to rest, but I’m doubling down on these valuable balls and my future kids,” he said. “Shoutout to Dr. Squatch for giving my balls the credit they deserve and hooking me up with the protection I need to keep this family tree rolling!”

The announcement was also shared on Instagram in collaboration with Dr. Squatch. “It’s official!” Cannon wrote in the post. “I have the most valuable balls in the world! @drsquatch has insured them for $10M through their Ball-to-Ball Coverage.”

No Immediate Plans for More Children

Despite his decision to insure his private parts, Cannon clarified that he isn’t planning on having more children anytime soon. “I’m chilling right now,” he told People earlier this year. “There’s no plans on the horizon as of yet. It’s so funny, everybody’s always trying to get me to have more kids. It’s like, 12 ain’t enough?”

However, Cannon did leave the door open for the possibility. “Thirteen is a good number. It’s definitely a lucky number,” he added.
