In a bold return to form, South Park has once again pushed the limits of satire—this time targeting former President Donald Trump with a wildly explicit and unapologetically bizarre depiction. The recent episode from Season 27 left fans stunned, not only for its creative audacity but also for a scene that involved a naked Trump alongside Satan and a pointed reference to his genitalia.

The moment has now sparked fierce responses from both the White House and the show’s creators, Trey Parker and Matt Stone, who made a joke apology that only fueled the fire.

The episode in question depicted Donald Trump in bed with Satan, followed by an extended, hyper-realistic deepfake of Trump walking naked through a desert. The image, layered with repeated jokes about Trump’s genitals, quickly went viral. While Comedy Central originally asked the creators to blur Trump’s anatomy, Parker reportedly refused, saying:

If we put eyes on the penis, we won’t blur it.”

According to Parker, this turned into a four-day debate with the network, arguing the penis was now technically a character. Stone confirmed, saying:

That was a whole conversation with grown-up people for four fucking days.”

At Comic-Con International in San Diego, when asked about the White House’s reaction, Parker responded with classic deadpan humor:

We’re terribly sorry,” followed by a long, comic stare that had the crowd laughing.

Unsurprisingly, the South Park Trump apology joke triggered a heated response from the White House. Spokesperson Taylor Rogers told Rolling Stone:

The Left’s hypocrisy truly has no end… for years they have come after South Park for ‘offensive’ content, but suddenly they’re praising the show.

He continued:

Just like the creators of South Park, the Left has no authentic or original content… this show hasn’t been relevant for over 20 years and is hanging on by a thread with uninspired ideas in a desperate attempt for attention.”

Rogers also claimed:

President Trump has delivered on more promises in just six months than any other president in our country’s history—and no fourth-rate show can derail President Trump’s hot streak.”

The premiere didn’t just take aim at Trump. It also mocked Paramount—just hours after Parker and Stone signed a $1.5 billion deal with the company—by referencing its recent $16 million settlement with Trump. In the episode, Jesus advises South Park residents to settle with Trump, warning:

You guys saw what happened to CBS? Yeah, well, guess who owns CBS? Paramount.”

Despite the uproar, Parker and Stone appear unfazed and committed to their off-the-cuff creative process.

Even just three days ago, we were like, ‘I don’t know if people are going to like this,’” Parker told Comic-Con attendees.
