Are you sure you have seen everything there is out there? Well, we have something to add to your list. A man named Dragan Bratic in Sweden has submitted an application for the official recognition of sex as a sport in the country. Bratic, who owns several strip clubs in the Jönköping area, applied in January to enroll in the association as a member of the National Sports Confederation. His goal? To create sex championships and offer prices for it just as you would for a competitive sport.

According to a report in The Times of India, Sweden has reportedly declared sex as an official sport. It reportedly made it the first country to do so. Furthermore, the report suggested that Sweden will host the inaugural European Sex Championship in Gothenburg on June 8, organized by the Swedish Sex Federation. Moreover, the six-week competition would feature participants engaging in various sexual activities across 16 disciplines. This would include seduction, oral sex, penetration, endurance, body massages, foreplay, and exploration of erotic zones.

What Is the Point of a Sex Championship?

The concept aims to challenge societal taboos around the topic of sex. It plans to do so by suggesting a performance-based approach. Additionally, individuals could earn a gold medal for their sexual activities. The man behind the idea, Dragan Bratic, who owns several strip clubs in the Jönköping area, is enthusiastic about encouraging people to view sex as a form of training. He highlights its potential for calorie burning.

However, the notion of integrating sex into fitness routines is not entirely unconventional. The proposal to attach a medal or reward system to it could provoke a new debate. It raises questions about the appropriateness of turning an intimate and private activity into a publicly recognized achievement. And it would potentially spark discussions on the intersection of performance, intimacy, and societal norms. Such a proposal’s broader implications and reception remain subjects for consideration and potential controversy.

What Is the Sex Championship Like?

In the European Sex Championship, participants are expected to undergo demanding six-hour sessions each day. Individual matches lasting between 45 to 60 minutes, as reported by various sources. The competition will involve 20 individuals from different countries. Additionally, a panel of three judges would oversee the event. Notably, audience influence is considered in determining the winners of the championship.

Moreover, the judging criteria encompass various aspects of sexual activity. This would include the chemistry between the participating individuals, their knowledge about sex, and their endurance levels. The culmination of these factors will play a crucial role in the final decision regarding the championship winners. The championship would be organized under the guidance of the Swedish Sex Federation. Furthermore, this would mark a unique approach to recognizing and evaluating sexual prowess as a competitive sport.

Is This Championship Actually Real?

While this sounds interesting, it is not technically official yet. Contrary to earlier reports, a clarification from the Swedish Sports Confederation (Riksidrottsförbundet or RF) indicates that the application submitted by the Swedish Sex Federation for the recognition of sex as a sport was rejected. As reported by Göteborg-Posten, this decision was made in April. Accordingly, the RF cited the incomplete nature of the application and its failure to meet specific requirements as the reasons for rejection.

So, while it is not officially confirmed yet, the possibility of sex championships is definitely not little. What do you think? Would these competitions be necessary?
