Who Is the Person Living as a Six-Year-Old Girl?

After 23 years of marriage, Stefonknee Wolscht’s wife Maria issued an ultimatum, demanding that Stefonknee stop being transgender or leave. Unwilling to suppress her true identity, Stefonknee chose to leave Maria and their seven children. Surprisingly, she then began identifying as a six-year-old girl, dressing in children’s clothing, wearing pigtails, playing with dolls, and occasionally using a pacifier.

Now 59 years old, Stefonknee has spoken about her journey of self-discovery, the challenges she’s faced, and the difficult decisions she’s had to make. Her relationship with her family broke down after she left in 2009.

What Is It Like Living as a Six-Year-Old Girl Now?

In an emotional video with gay news site The Daily Xtra, in collaboration with The Transgender Project, Stefonknee Wolscht, a 52-year-old from Toronto, revealed that she came to the realization of being transgender at the age of 46. This self-discovery led to her separation from her wife, Maria, who had given her an ultimatum to either stop being transgender or leave their relationship.

Stefonknee now lives with friends whom she considers her ‘adoptive mommy and daddy’ and identifies as a six-year-old girl. She dresses in children’s clothing and spends her time playing and coloring with her adoptive parents’ grandchildren. Remarkably, her ‘adoptive’ family, comprising an older couple and their children with young grandchildren, is fully accepting of Stefonknee’s identification as a little girl.

What StefonKnee Had to Say

Stefonknee explains that she is living as a six-year-old girl because it’s something she was unable to do when she was in grade school. She acknowledges her previous marriage and having children but states that she has moved forward and reverted to a childlike identity, expressing a desire not to be an adult at this moment.

She mentions having an adopted mommy and daddy who are fully supportive of her being a little girl, as well as their children and grandchildren. Stefonknee goes on to reveal that she previously lived as an eight-year-old girl but transitioned to being a six-year-old girl when their granddaughter wanted to be the older sister. She has remained at the age of six ever since.

During the winter, Stefonknee works as a snowplow operator to earn money. When she is at home with her adoptive family, they engage in activities like coloring and ‘kid’s stuff,’ which she refers to as play therapy. This form of therapy does not involve medication and helps her to stay free of suicidal thoughts while allowing her to enjoy playing and being herself.
