Notably, both Ronstadt and Gomez, who share Mexican descent, had a prior meeting at Ronstadt’s residence to discuss the project. Selena Gomez previously hinted at her involvement in the Linda Ronstadt film. She did so by sharing a photo of Ronstadt’s 2013 memoir, “Simple Dreams,” on her Instagram Stories.
