Did she or didn’t she? “Euphoria” star Sydney Sweeney discusses her alleged romance rumors with “Anyone But You” co-star Glen Powell.
Earlier, in April of this year, the duo got under hot fire for allegedly showing their filming chemistry in real life as well. The co-stars were spotted being snuggled up and kissing even off-stage.
Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell have recently finished filming their new movie “Anyone But You”. The American romantic comedy is set to hit the cinemas on December 15th of this year.
Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell Cheating Allegations
Media speculation spit like rapid-fire, once the news of the duo allegedly dating started spreading. This became a huge discussion online as both Sydney and Glenn, had other respective partners. The situation got even more heated when Glen Powell’s girlfriend notified the media that she had split up with her partner.
Sydney Sweeney herself has been engaged to Jonathan Davino since February 2022. However, there was no news of her splitting with her fiancé. This raised the question of whether the movie duo cheated on their respective partners even outside of the movie.
On the other hand, Glen Powell’s love life reached an abrupt end as the 34-year-old finds himself single once again after ending his three-year relationship with girlfriend Gigi Paris in April. Gigi and Glen started dating in 2020, after starring in “Devotion”. The model hinted at the breakup in an Instagram post with the caption: “Recognize your value and move forward.”
It didn’t however end here. People started expressing their opinions online and the discussion on whether Sydney Sweeney was a homewrecker hit the fan. The fact that she had maintained her relationship with her fiance, while her co-star had to end his three-year relationship, was the main point of the discussion.
Sydney Sweeney’s Reaction to the Allegations
Sydney Sweeney surely took her time when it comes to giving a response. The star told Variety: “It’s a rom-com. That’s what people want! Glen and I don’t really care. We have so much fun together, and we respect each other so much.” Sydney also told the magazine why she thinks the duo got along so well, claiming: “He’s such a hard worker, and I’m a hard worker. We’re excited for the press tour, and I literally just left ADR with him. We talk all the time like, ‘That’s really funny.’“
