Imagine waking up one day to discover that your face has been tattooed against your will. This was the horrifying reality for one woman who now finds herself undergoing the painful process of being shut down for her looks. However, now after suffering the consequences of fake friends and an unkind partner, this woman will finally see the light of hope again thanks to the help of one specific person who is offering her a face tattoo removal session.
This Woman Had Her Face Tattoed Against Her Will
At 21, Taylor White discovered tattoos on her face without her consent, forcing her to cover them with dark ink. One day, a kind stranger intervened, profoundly changing her life. This happened in Florida and the woman received unwanted face tattoos possibly due to her mean boyfriend and his friends, during a birthday celebration where she was hurt and woke up in a hotel room. Taylor said she could not remember all the details clearly but was shocked to find her face covered in awful tattoos.
She Tried Her Best to Hide Them
She attempted to conceal the tattoos with makeup, but her boss noticed them, leading her to understand she couldn’t continue like this. In 2008, he proposed covering them with blackout ink for a “normal life,” which she accepted. However, despite the cover-up, she continued to face job rejections.
But, this issue would not last too long. A TikTok user called TheDadBot stumbled upon Taylor’s livestream accidentally. Aware of her story and her discussions about bipolar disorder, he felt compelled to help her.
A Savior Offered a Free Face Tattoo Removal
In an interview, Karridy noted the significant impact of Taylor’s past struggles on her personal life, hindering her potential. He generously offered to cover the costs of tattoo removal and contacted clinics for assistance. Remarkably, Removery, a laser tattoo removal company, agreed to perform the procedure for free, typically costing thousands of dollars.
How Long Is the Face Tattoo Removal Process Going to Last?
Carmen VanderHeiden Brodie, Removery’s VP of Clinical Operations, noted that it might take up to two years to completely remove Taylor’s tattoos. However, during her initial session, Taylor was seen smiling. Despite the long process, Taylor remains undeterred. With newfound goals after the tattoo removal, she aims to pursue a career in mental health care. At 37, Taylor emphasized that she’s not having the tattoos removed solely for cosmetic reasons but to erase a part of her past that no longer defines her.
With this face tattoo removal opportunity, it is sure to say that there are still good people out there! What about you? What would you have done in this situation?
